new! There will be a seminar at the Peninsula Humane Society on Sunday, June 29, 2003, at 4 p.m. on using dog parks and doggie day care facilities. The seminar will deal in great detail with dog posturing and what it means, when it's play and when it's not. It will also deal with responsible human behavior while visiting dog parks. Thoughts on what to look for when choosing a doggie day care facility will also be discussed. The seminar will be presented by Martina Contreras, owner of A Dog's Best Friend, trainer and behaviorist. Martina is a regular visitor to many west San Francisco Bay Area dog parks including MVDP. Hundreds of Giants fans will bring their dogs to the ballpark for an afternoon of fun.

The $30 Dog Days Combo Ticket includes one bleacher ticket and admission for your dog (tickets for extra humans are $13 each).

Tickets must be purchased from the Giants and are available by mail order only. To request an order form, call 415-972-2361 or 415-972-2356. Space is limited and is expected to sell out quickly. The first 1,000 canines receive a dog bowl!

(Note: If you want to bring your dog to Dog Days, you MUST buy a special Dog Days ticket. Season tickets or other regular tickets for the August 10th game will not allow you to bring a dog.)

Bark in the ParkTM is a fundraising event hosted by the Naglee Park neighborhood's Campus Community Association. All proceeds benefit the CCA and DARE, Inc. Both are non-profit orgaizations serving our local communities.
